New Makeup (Decent Sized Makeup Haul)
Hello everyone! So Today I am going to be talking about some stuff that I got recently! About a week ago I went to ulta and I bought some stuff, I also recently got my June ipsy glam bag and I also got some new stuff from my friend, because they came it sets and she didn't like the colors. SO I thought I would put all of these together, in one blog post. So Yeah! Comment down below the latest piece of makeup you bought, and follow my blog! Love you, now let's get started!
Essence eyeshadow palette: I got this at Ulta, because I had a gift card. It's all shimmers, so you generally need to use it with a palette that has some mattes in it but OMG these eyeshadows are so pretty, glittery, pigmented and adorable! I love this thing! Plus the outside looks like it's from benefit, but its not, and it's cruelty free!
Elf Color Correcting Primer: Call me crazy all you want, but this stuff reminds me of those purple glue sticks that dry clear because it starts out purple, but once you rub it into your skin, it's clear. The only thing with this is, its purple for a reason, whereas the purple glue sticks are not purple for a reason. The elf primer color corrects which I love because I have discoloration. This was super cheap, and it works super well.
Wet n Wild photo focus foundation: This was from ulta and it was super duper nice. It can be a ice sheer coverage if you add a moisturizer, but if you layer it, it's not cakey, its full coverage and its super nice. The shade range is decent, I don't think that it's the best ever, but the foundation is very good!
Wet n Wild Concealer Stick: This is a little bit peachy for me, but its nice. I like it, it's pretty full coverage and pretty nice! It's a bit of a chubbier stick, so it's a bit harder to get a nice precise effect with this, but it is good and I do approve.
Wet n Wild false lashes: I have tried these before, and I mostly got them to have for shows and such, but they are great and they are like 99 cents. I love Wet n Wild in case you can't tell, but if you have seen my "Makeup I want from Wet n Wild", you would know that I wanted to get more of these! The come with a lash glue too!
Tweezers: These are not name brand, there just some like 50 cents tweezers for applying false lashes. That's all.
LA Colors Sharpener: This is a lip and eye pencil sharpener from LA colors that I found for literally 25 cents in a dollar store one day and it works really well. This is not makeup, but it is a makeup tool, so I thought I would include it!
Firma 102 brush: This is a product I got in my ipsy glam bag which I am not happy with. The only reason I am keeping this is because it is pretty. However, this is one of the worst brushes I have tried, in my personal opinion. This is supposed to be used for blush but the bristles of the brush are thin, weak (for lack of a better word) and the opposite of soft. I don't know if this is a brush you enjoy but it is not something I like, or will be using. Again, I am only keeping this because it looks pretty. Another thing I don't like about this is on the website it appears to be a really nice slanted blush brush, but it has a flat top and it does not work well for me at all.
Beauty for real eyeliner: This is a pencil liner and its super shiny and metallic which I really love! I think is super cool! I got this in my ipsy glam bag for june!
Steve Laurent Eyeshadow: I also got this in my ipsy glam bag for june and I like it. It's a very pretty bright turquoise color, and its super pigmented. I love this color and I love the glitter in it! I love this stuff!
Beauty Concepts Lip Glosses: My friend got a set of these and she didn't like three of the colors so she gave it to me! One of them is a dark red, one is a bright red and one is a light pink. The reds remind me less of lipgloss and more of a not super matte liquid lipstick. I like these very much, the only things are the start out a little streaky and they are kinda sticky if you apply too much, but they are a pretty good product.
Ellen Tracy Lipstick: That same friend also bought a set of Ellen Tracy lipsticks and she didn't like this mauvey pink color, which I love so she gave it to me! Ellen Tracy is a cheaper brand that you can find at TJ Maxx and this lipstick is really good. I am actually wearing this color right now and its super nice. I like it because it has a very precise and small tip which you can use to line your lips before filling them in.
Well that's all for now! I really hope you all enjoyed reading! I love you no matter your race, gender, sexuality, or anything else!
