The Perfect Gifts for Your Friends/Family Who Love Makeup

Hello everyone! My good friend has been talking to me about what she wants for her birthday, so I thought I would show you guys some things to get your friends and family who like makeup for their birthdays or christmas or anything else you celebrate and give gifts for. Now, I am going to organize this into three kinds of makeup lovers: The beginner is just starting and playing around with makeup, the enthusiast is a little more experienced but is still not sure about a lot about makeup, and the addict knows as much as he or she can know about makeup and wakes up every morning because they can do her or his makeup. Anyways, lets just get into it! Please follow my blog and comment down below the best thing to get a friend who loves makeup, and lets get started!

Beginner: Like I said, beginners are just starting to play around with makeup, and they may not be super committed to makeup yet. So I would not recommend getting the beginner high end stuff. Don't get me wrong, everyone deserves high end stuff if thats what they want but the beginner may not even like makeup after a few months, or not know how to use or keep makeup products. If you get someone a 50 dollar thing in a month it could be broken, lost, or the person is not going to be interested in makeup.

Makeup: I think a good idea is to get a beginner any products he or she doesn't have as a beginner, so basically, a makeup starter kit. Its very nice to have and if you click

Then you will find yourself reading my previous articles on makeup starter kits. Anyways, a drugstore makeup starter kit is always a good idea for beginners.

Skincare: A lot of people who are just starting to wear makeup don't know that they need to take care of there skin in order to keep there skin healthy, so I find that its good to get a beginner some good makeup wipes, a facial cleanser and some moisturizer just as far as a beginners guide to skincare goes. Just any of these things is not enough to keep someones skin healthy, so I would recommend going to target or wherever you want to go to get those three things for your beginner friend or family member.

Organization: Keeping track of your makeup when you start to take interest in it is very important, so I would recommend getting a friend a good makeup bag in which he or she can put the makeup products he or she does have.

Enthusiast: The enthusiast has been doing makeup for longer then the average person, has started to enjoy makeup tutorials a little and has started wearing a decent amount of makeup every day. They are generally feeling pretty good about their makeup skills but they also have some room to learn more. Its okay in my opinion to begin to get your makeup enthusiast friend a high end product or two if you can afford it.

Makeup: Like I said, when someone starts developing a love for makeup they are in the enthusiast stage, and its okay if you want to get them one high end product. However, you should only ever do this if you can. Getting them one high end makeup product can help them feel like they are really getting into makeup. But if you would like to get them some more inexpensive stuff, I would recommend getting them a brightly colored eyeshadow palette or two. I know nyx has some really nice ones and I have heard great things about the elf ones. A brightly colored palette will encourage the enthusiast to get crazy with eyeshadow which can be super fun.

Skincare: Something good to be getting a makeup enthusiast is a facial or body scrub and/or mask. They are good to use once, twice, or maximum three times a week and they can help exfoliate your skin. I personally enjoy making my own scrubs and masks, so if you want to make them a scrub or a mask you can click on

You'll get some DIY recipes for a few home made masks and scrubs. Warning though, the avocado masks do not stay.

Organization: Generally, when your a makeup enthusiast your makeup collection has grown some more so as its hard to dig through a bag to get to what you need at any certain time. SO, this is the perfect time to get someone a makeup organizer! Like an acrilyc one you can find online! They are generally super inexpensive and they are an easy way to organize makeup!

Addict: The makeup addict is someone who lives for makeup, who loves it and considers it a complete art. Sometimes makeup addicts watch beauty tutorials just because it soothes them, they adore makeup and whenever they get new makeup they practically scream, so they scream a lot. The makeup addict is always where the makeup is, and can never leave a sephora or ulta empty handed. It is fully okay to get them high end stuff.

Makeup: Its a really great thing to get a makeup addict high end makeup, but again, if you cannot afford it, ask them two things. What they have the least of (and if they are running out of anything), and what their favorite makeup item is. You can run to the drugstore and grab them one of their faves, and something they are running out of and maybe some nick knacks on the way!

Skincare: All skincare is great for the makeup addict, and things like unique masks are always apreciated. For instance, you can get an elf magnetic mask for 15 bucks at target and its super cool and good for a makeup addict. I also have found that the makeup addict enjoys toners and stuff like that.

Organization: Okay, so if you can afford it, makeup drawers (like the alex drawers from ikea) are a great thing to get the makeup addict because they generally have a very large selection of makeup and sometimes they don't know where to put it all. Anyways, if not, more acrylic mini drawers are always good to have!

And thats all for now! I hope you all enjoyed reading! I love you no matter your race, gender, sexuality, or anything else!
