How To Pick the Perfect Outfit for The First Day of school (No Shopping required)
Hey my beautiful angel children! Today we are going to be talking about how to pick out the perfect outfit for the first day of school, because it can be confusing! Comfy or cute, how dressed up is too dressed up, what about dress codes? These are questions we have all asked ourselves before about our first day outfit, but heres how to choose your first day outfit well. There are a few things that need to be checked off in order for you to have the perfect back to school outfit. First things first, get inspiration. Look on your favorite fashion bloggers pages (i have some pretty cool outfits on my blog *nudge nudge*) , or pinterest boards. Try looking in your closet and searching up what you call your style and then "back to school outfits". Once you have some inspo look at what you have thats simaler. And now for the questions we ask ourselves:
Comfy or Cute: It is important to be comfortable during school but you shouldn't have to choose comfort over style! I say why choose between cute and comfy when you could have both!
How Dressed up is too dressed up: It depends on what you wear most of the time. If you wear sweats every day then its probably weird if you show up in a dress and heels, but its okay to dress it up especially for the first day. Just make sure you'll be comfortable and confident all day!
What about dress codes: Read your schools dress code ahead of time and decide if you should save it for after school or its okay to wear to school.
Does your first day outfit matter that much: Not really its just fun and makes back to school more fun!
And finally, heres a check list of things you should keep in mind:
__ Will it work with the weather?
__ Have you worn it for more then 2 hours in your normal life?
__ Have you worn it before? (this is isn't terrible its just something to keep in mind)
__ Are you comfortable in it?
__ Is it your style?
__ Is it dress code approved?
__ Does it flatter your favorite features about yourself?
__ Are you happy wearing it?
