Simple Summer Makeup Look
Hey everyone! My name is Greta, and its summer (thank goodness) so that means I am going to be showing you a very basic and simple makeup look for summer. Its nothing fancy, and actually it does not involve much makeup, because a lot if it comes off from sweat in the summer! So comment down below your summer makeup routine, follow my blog, and lets get started!
I'm starting by priming my face with this amazing color correcting primer from elf that I got recently, even though I am not wearing a full coverage foundation, primer really helps me feel better and it stops as much of my makeup from sweating off, which is super helpful.
For summer, I prefer light coverage stuff, so I am going to be putting some foundation on my hand, and then adding a nice light moisturizer to it to make it more light coverage. Then I am going to be taking my concealer stick from wet n wild and applying a tiny bit of that under my eyes and on any blemishes I have. Of course, I have to set that down with a powder, to make sure it stays, so I am using my Tarte amazonian clay setting powder, and as far as powder goes, I like to be pretty minimal in the summer, so my face doesn't look cakey.
So once my base is done, I am going to move on to bronzer, bronzer is a completely essential in summer because everyone loves that bronzy glow. I have been obsessed with this cream to powder bronzer from my favorite makeup brand, Too Faced. I just use an angled contour brush for that and it gives me a super nice bronzed glow, which I love.
Normally now I would use a matte blush shade, but I already have a nice rose in my cheeks in summer, especially when I am not wearing a full coverage foundation, so I am just gonna skip that step. If you wanna wear it, wear blush, but I don't wanna.
Then I am going in with a matte highlighter shade. Its from the rose palette from style essentials, and its technically an eyeshadow, but I have been obsessed with it as a highlighter, and I apply it with my fan brush, which I love.
Thats all for my face makeup, so I am just going to use my AMAZING Too Faced setting spray, its super nice, and it smells, amazing, so I am just going to be spraying that all over my face!
Then I am going to move on to the eyes, I am not gonna do much for the eyes. I am just going to take a brown eyeliner pencil and use it to fill in my brows, just a little, so it still looks natural, and then I set it with some clear brow gel!
Then I curl my eyelashes. I don't wear mascara on a daily basis in summer, but if you are going to, i would recommend a waterproof one.
And thats all for my basic makeup look for summer! I really hope you all enjoyed reading! I love you no matter your race, religon, size, shape, color, or anything else!
