For instance stripes and florals can go very nice together! Or for mixing patterns stick to the same color sceme! 2.  Jewelry can help bring two peices of a outfit together! 3.  If you wanna wear something flowing you need to wear a fitted top or bottom with it. Hello readers! Its Captain Couture! And in this post i am going to be talking about ways fashion can help save our planet! So lets get right into it! Way 1- Buy your clothes from stores with good reputations for doing the right thing such as Fibre Athletics, and WeWOOD. If you buy from them you are making a positive impact on the world. Research all the brands you buy before hand so that you are positive! Way 2- Go with fake leather. I know its not good to be fake but that is killing animals buying real leather! try to stick to fake leather jackets, boots or whatever else! Way 3- Try to buy clothes that last long. The more cheap, short lasting and fake the item of clothing is the more likely someone had to work for.  Human and animal labor is something all over the world that I believe is terrible. Ok so guys I just discovered a great new show on youtube called "the wheel of fashion" just type "the wheel of fashion" into the search bar and it will come up. Some of them are with Niki and Gabi some are with others but they are super cool! They have to spin the wheel of fashion and witch ever item it lands on they have to build a outfit around in 60 seconds! You need to check it out! Its not only entertaining but they give pretty good fashion advice too! Just wanted to let you know!

I have been designing clothing sense I was little and now I am going to be showing you a basic guide to deigning for beginning fashionistas in simple steps! Lets Go! Step One- get inspiration! Learn from whats around you and create something inspired by what you see! Step Two- Concentrate. Think hard about what you want your design to look like. its every cut, color and move! Step Three- Draw. Sketch out your design and... Step Four- show off your work to your family and friends. Remember its ok if its not perfect! It is just a small peice of paper that will become something amazing someday if you put in the efforts! and that was a simple guide to designing from yours truly, Captain Couture! Hope you enjoyed!

My last post was about some fashion rules that I think are dumb but this is much more positive! These are some fashion rules that I do not think should be broken! Just a few! 1. When it comes to jewelry less is more- I know that a lot of people like jewelry! and so do I but do not wear a big chunky necklace and big chunky earrings at the same time! The Christmas tree look does not look good on anyone so don't! When you are alone you can pile it up but it is MUCH more in style to go a bit simpler. 2.  Do not have a flowy blouse and a flowy skirt together- something flowing is nice but do not wear a flowing top and a flowing bottom! it does not work! wear either a fitted top and a flowy bottom or a flowy top and a fitted bottom. however you can wear to fitted things are once, thats cute! 3. Un-matching colors- do not wear orange and purple together or anything like that. It looks wrong! 4. Darker colors are for later in the day- Darker colors such as black and dark grey are b

Fashion Rules: some hate them and some love them. I am somewhere in between but here are a few fashion rule I do not agree with. Please remember this is just my opinion you have the right to your own! Enjoy! 1. No white after labor day- well guess what? winter is after labor day! and you are saying white is not good for winter? no! you did not just go there! 2. Tall women shouldn't wear heels- Why? So you won't intimidate men by being taller than them? That's a horrible reason to deny yourself. Heels look amazing on tall women. Wear the highest ones you can manage. You'll be the most captivating person in the room. Guaranteed. 3. Short women shouldn't wear long dresses. Long dresses can actually make you look taller, especially when they drape nicely and skim the body. Just steer clear of anything too bulky. 4. Never wear gold and silver jewelry together. Wearing gold and silver together actually looks better in a lot of cases than just wearing one or the other. The
